Tonight at Hampton sets up as a bit of a let-down game — off a big, emotional win, W&M plays a team that they should beat if they’re truly maturing and learning to play more consistent basketball. I think we’ll learn a good bit about the trajectory of this season’s team tonight.
Sixteen days have passed since we last saw the William and Mary men’s basketball team play an opponent in what has been already a crazy season for college hoops.
It was Sunday, March 8 when we last saw William and Mary basketball on the floor, in their heartbreaking 68-63 CAA quarterfinals loss to Elon. That feels like 40 years ago.
